Wine cooler too cold, compressor keeps running, temperature display is off
Let me first go over how a sealed system actually works that way when I tell you whats wrong you won't think I'm crazy. There are two sides to the freon system, known as the sealed system. The low side, where freon is in a gas form. In this form, freons temperature is at its coldest. Now, the freon can't just sit because movement is required for it to be cold. The high side does this by compressing the gas into a liquid, which pressure causes the temperature to rise, and forcing it through to the low side where it becomes a gas. So, with that said, the more freon in a sealed system the more pressure is applied, causing a higher temperature because less time as a gas. This is how they make wine coolers, walk in fridges, etc cool, not freeze. If you were to remove freon, the temperarture would get colder. Your wine cooler should have enough freon to prevent this from happening, and it doesn't therefor the freon has more time as a gas. Either you have a leak, or you've somehow knocked a freon line loose. It should have a year warranty on it.
