Flashing screen screen is flashing

Sounds like it could be the power supply. Try changing the brightness of the screen and changing picture modes like movie or standard. If this causes the flashing to change in severity, it will most likely be the power supply board

i also have the same problem, i have also changed the screen i have two and both flash ten times?

What do you mean screen line flashing? Is there lines on the screen flashing or is the cursor just flashing? When is this happening?

Depending on which screen flashes, one of them has died. If the bottom screen flashes then the top screen needs replacing, if the top screen flashes then the bottom screen needs replacing, the easier of the 2.

Press the flash button (just under the viewfinder) to cycle through the flash settings. Your choices are Auto Flash, Auto Flash with Red-eye Reduction, Flash On, Flash Off, and Night.

If you want to capture the screen image, you're better off using the computer operating system's screen-capture capability. This will give you the screen exactly as it is, without the distortions inherent in converting to an analog image and then converting it back to a digital image.

Is your reachargeable batteries older than 15 months?

Try this:
Set to low power on flash, set flash to manual.
Remove flash from hotshoe.
Fire the flash by pushing the flash button for 3 mins, same problem(s)?

stonelinton, It's not your LCD, otherwise you would have heard the sound of buttons being pushed. If your units first screen is white and there is no logo screen or any legible images, then it's your NAND flash on your main board. The first image produced upon boot is the blue magellan screen. This is produced from the NAND flash and will show it no matter if a hard drive is present or not. After the Magellan screen it pulls images from the hard drive. So, it is the mainboard and the only way to fix it is to send it to Magellan repair and they will have to put in a new mainboard then reprogram your serial number, etc.
