Question about Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray Player
I brought my bd from home where i use hdmi to the fire station where there is a projection tv and tried using component cables and i get no picture but i do get sound. is there any way you can help. for instance i know i can press the home button once then press the left button a few times to get to settings and then down abunch to get to the bottom whre i think the easy set up is located but i dont know where to go from there. thanks.
This is button config for master reset without picture:
Home Left button x 3 Down button x 7 ok (centre button) ok Down button x 6 ok Left button x 1 ok ok wait a couple of seconds for settings to complete, when you switch back on you should have a picture and be back at language set up screen.
Hope this helps.
Please note I am from the UK and I am assuming your menus are the same as mine

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

the hdmi output generally needs activating through the menu system.
im assuming you havent already done this.
connect it with whatever cable works and navigate through to the menu system to select the hdmi output.
failing that it might be the hdmi cable is an older cable not capable of supporting ver1.3
