Transfering from phone to sim is not a good idea since the sim holds 250 numbers and seperates each number on your phone book in case you have 2-3 numbers on the phone under one name. This way some numbers might get lost. Try downloading Motorola phone tools to your computer (copy and paste to your browser: http://www.brothersoft.com/motorola-mobile-phonetools-61039.html )Then you need to update it several times to the latest version. Then simply follow instruction to back up all your data. Please write me if you need more instructions.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I want to transfer my number to a new iPhone and I don't remember my account number or PIN number. Can you help me to find this information?

If you haven't cut your SIM card for iPhone yet, you can take advantage of the SIM card to transfer contacts from Motorola to iPhone. You need to go to your Contacts app and choose Export Contacts to SIM. Then the contacts can be transferred to the SIM card. Now you can cut the card and install it in iPhone, and go to Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and scroll down to find Import SIM Card Contacts. Now you are able to import the contacts from SIM card to your iPhone.

Another method is using Gmail. Android users can take advantage of Gmail (or other emails provide contacts sync function) to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone. The following tutorial will show you how to do it:
  1. Log in Gmail on your Android phone, and check the "Sync Contacts" option (If you are first time to use this method.
  2. After Gmail Contacts synced with your Android Contacts, you should turn to iPhone, and tap Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and tap Add Account. Then choose Google, and enter your Gmail account.
  3. After adding Google Account, you can turn on Contacts, and iPhone will ask whether you want to merge with your iPhone contacts. Click Yes and the contacts will be synced to your iPhone.
With the sync function of Gmail, people are able to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone with ease. If you aren't using Gmail on your iPhone, don't worry, you can take advantage of other email services like Yahoo, Outlook and so on.
You can also take advantage of the third-party iPhone transfer software to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone directly. Among all the iPhone transfer programs, iTransfer is regarded one of the best.

I have a razr 2 and have recently taken some photos and would like to transfer them to my pc, how can I do that?

Hello,

I am sure the razr 2 accepts some type of memory card. You can transfer the pics from phone memory to the card memory and then remove the card and by using an approprite adapter and card reader you can connect it to your PC and transfer the photos. If you are unable to this then you can tranfer the pics using bluetooth dongle.

Transfer contacts

You can transfer your contacts a few different ways. First you go to your carrier and see if they will transfer the contacts to your other phone. ( they have data transfer machines.) You can also download the contacts your computer via usb cable and a software program called Motorola Phone Tools. If you are using a GSM model Razr you would simply copy the contacts to the sim card and place the sim card in the new phone.

Phone can not be identified by the pc. it wants the usb charging

micro sd card has a built in driver on its own, all you have to do is to unlock your phone and connect the cable to your phone and your pc.. press "yes" on your phone questioning you "connect as a storage device" or something like that.. then you can start file transfer from pc to phone and vice versa..

boot_c_03.08.00r_mpap Paul Sager from FixYa has posted a solution for this problem previousley (as below). I have tried the Motorola and Verizon sites (tried the store as well) and the software is not available to flash the phone. Do you know of a site that would still have it available? Or can this question be sent to Paul to further comment on it? All I want to do is recover the phone numbers, notes and calandar from the phone via Activesync or Windows. Paul Sager 2335 Solutions July 14, 2010 I can help you with your Motorola Moto Q. What has happened is that the firmware of your phone has become corrupted. When this happens your phone will no longer finish its boot sequence. This is a very common situation with many phones: in fact, much of what I do here at Fixya is explain how people can fix their MP3 players, GPS and phones by reflashing the firmware. The good news is that if you take your phone into your carrier's store, they can reflash it for you right there (if they have a competent tech handy.) If you are comfortable with computers etc, you can also do it yourself. Your computer will communicate with and fix your phone, even though it doesn't seem to recognize it right now - I've seen this many many times. My only warning for you is that if you are going to flash your phone yourself, you need to get the correct firmware from motorola's site for your carrier. I just downloaded the Verizon firmware as an example - Motorola's website has about ten different carrier firmwares for their MotoQ phone. I hope that helps.
