Hello i need help yesterday i turned my laptop dell on and coukd not get pass the conection it said that i had a sofeware removed i did not remove any thing i have notive lately that it took time for it to come up and dipaly my pages. do i need a new hard drive ?

Try this turn OFF the laptop and remove all the power sources (battery and charger). Without the power sources hold the power button 10 secs. Put the power sources back and turn ON the NB.

if you know the bios pass word go into bios hitting del upon start up then on pass word enter the old pass word then make the new one empty click save if you dont know the pass word then the back up battery on the mother board will need to be removed for several hrs

you can clear coms but if your are sure you can dismantel your laptop carefully then you can remove the coms battery and turn on once and fix it back that will reset your coms setting.

A fast check to determine whether you have a problem with the power adapter, power cord or the laptop's battery is to turn off the laptop, remove the battery, connect the power adapter, turn on the laptop & see if it works.
If the laptop works directly from the power adapter with the battery removed, then the power adapter is good. In this case we can suspect that the battery is defective.

Hello, go to your start menu, from there open your controle panel. Then open user account and openthe section that says computer administrator. You will then see a section that says create pass word, here you can change or remove the pass word on your computer. I hope this helps.

remove the cmos battery for 30 secs at least - usually works

also try looking in your manual for mention of a cmos reset jumper,
short these 2 pins and it should reset your bios to defaults and remove any passwords

chck the memory ,,and reboot the machn..thn c,,if nt tht remov the memory n clean it n put it bck and try

This could be a multitude of things, but the first thing that comes to mind is an overheating problem.

To rule out other things, remove and reseat the RAM, HDD, CD/HDD drive, Battery, Wi-Fi/BlueTooth mini adapters, etc.

Also, for further clarification, is there any error indicated on the screen prior to the machine turning off?

removed battery, and acadapter FROM UNIT, HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON 60 SECOND That should drain the power from it
