Charging port not working. How can I fix it

If it's a mini-USB charging port you could have damaged contacts on either your USB cable or the USB port itself. You should try another cable first hoping that it's only a damaged cable. If the new cable doesn't do it then it's probably the USB port itself. If that's the case, you probably have to take or send it in for repair.

Have to push power adapter hard for tablet to charge

The power port is damaged - most likely the solder joints are loose or broken. You need to find a store where someone can open the case, order the new part for the tablet and then solder the new power port to the board.

Then it will be as good as new.

I have replaced power ports on laptops, phones and tablets.

Power port needs repaired

Are you sure it is the port that needs fixed, or is it your usb cord you plug into? If it is the port you need to send the tablet in for a technition to repair. First try a new charger or usb cord and see if it works.

How can i upgrade my tablet pc from a 1.1 usb to a 2.0

Unfortunately with a tablet PC, the USB ports are all integrated into the motherboard itself. To upgrade that involves finding and then installing a new motherboard, and hooking up all the internal components again. This is generally well beyond the realm of what a typical PC user can accomplish, requiring a professional. To do this upgrade, the costs involved aren't much less than buying a new tablet altogether.
