Question about Plustek OpticPro 9636T Flatbed Scanner
I had it in the attic and now I need to use it. Because my computer does not have the connection required to connect to the scanner \i do not know if itthe scanner is useless to my needs or is there an adapter that will allow me to use these type of 25 pin cable. I also need what think is an electrical cable. The S/N :4911245121. Is this obsolete??
I purchased it at my local Air Force Base about8-10 years ago.
I am sure by now the scanner motor is stuck! Give it a try by powerig on first. There are two types of 25 pin connectors, 1) is serial connector (you will find pins in two rows and 2) Centronics 'D' type where you will find the connectors in the centre. You need to figure it out and use the right cable. You also need scanning software and driver to connect it to the latest Computer.
