When I go on R4i for my dsi it isn't working and we have done everything but it still won't work. I had a dsi when I was little an then I got this one but this one had all the extras on and it is dsi

Could you state what exactly you have attempted?
For firmware updates, go to R4i's website and go to the "Download" tab. Download the latest firmware files, and put those on the root of your MicroSD card. Reattempt booting it up.
Another issue could be that the internals of your DSi have become dirty. Try cleaning the contacts of the game slot with a dry tissue, and attempt again.
Does your DSi load other games but not R4i? The R4i is probably broken. Check if you have any warranty and contact the R4 team. If the DSi doesn't load any games, attempt cleaning. If this still is the issue, the DSi is broken and you should contact Nintendo.

Two things: the dsi action replay will not stay inserted into the dsi consistently; when it does stay inserted and i want to switch back to a game (without the action replay), then the dsi doesn't...

  1. Action Replay Not Staying Inserted:
    • The issue with the Action Replay not staying inserted into the DSi may be due to a loose or damaged cartridge slot on the DSi or an issue with the Action Replay cartridge itself.
    • Check the Action Replay cartridge for any visible damage, including bent pins or connectors. If you find any, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
    • Try inserting other game cartridges into your DSi to see if they fit securely. If other cartridges also don't stay in place, it could indicate a problem with the DSi's cartridge slot.
  2. DSi Not Recognizing Game Cartridge:
    • If your DSi doesn't recognize that there's a game in the slot, this could be related to the Action Replay cartridge, or it could be a more general issue with the DSi.
    • Test this issue with regular game cartridges that are known to work. If the DSi still doesn't recognize them, there may be a problem with the cartridge slot.
    • If other game cartridges work fine, the issue may be specific to the Action Replay. In this case, you should contact the manufacturer or distributor for support or a replacement.
In either case, if the problem persists, you may want to consider having your DSi and Action Replay inspected or repaired by a professional technician, or contact Nintendo's customer support for further assistance. Make sure to follow their guidance and ensure that your DSi and accessories are in good working condition.

I NEED HELP FOR MY R4I + DSI

you need a new r4 since the new one is designed for the DSi since the DSi functions differently and blocks the old R4's so they made a new one that works on the DSi.

N5 for nintendo dsi

DSi requires it's own compatible card. But make sure it's version 1.4 compatible otherwise it won't work either (the R4i Gold came out before the version 1.4 so it wont' work).

If you need to upgrade to a DSi compatible card you can get a genuine cards here www.dscardworld.com and all the DSi 1.4 cards are clearly labeled. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

Best of luck!
