First try another cable .

Otherwise return the thing to the one you bought it from because you'll have to change the Mainboard which is very expensive.

Green screen on VGA with Viewsonic PJD5122

VGA is separated analog signals in Red, Blue, and Green. Under normal cases, you'd be able to change the cable, source, or input port and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, if the green tint persists with all input ports on the projector (The two blue ones are Input, the black one is output. There is a potential that attaching input to the black output port could have caused the damage), different sources, and different cables, then it's likely a problem with the projector hardware itself and would require warranty service or otherwise repair or replacement of the projector. If you have an alternate way the projector can be attached, then try that (Such as SVideo), otherwise there may not be any good solution in this case short of checking the guts of the system.

Black screen

the Acer Aspire 5100 notebook has a VGA port which you can connect to any VGA monitor which will allow you to see what the laptop is trying to display allowing you to troubleshoot the issue.

My vga port doesn't work right

Your VGA connector has a broken solder joint on the video board or the mother board. This isn't an easy fix.

Suggest you look for a VGA to USB dongle or adapter instead. Install the driver, and you should be good to go. You'll just have to take your dongle along whenever you need a VGA connection.

The bottom of my screen is black and blue starting solid on bottom and sides for about an inch give or take then gradually becomes spotted balck with blue background and has a pink line running vertically...

I suggest either trying another monitor on the computer with this problem or plugging the monitor into another computer.

That will isolate the fault to either the computer or the monitor.

Bright yellow

I can't imagine a setting that would cause this - It sound more like some sort of fault with the projector's blue LCD panel. (The image is created from a mix of red, green and blue light. If you loose the blue, everything will look yellow.)

Is it capable of showing any shades of blue?

Using any graphics or photo-editing software, create a solid blue image (R=0, G=0, B=255 in your colour settings) and if possible, display this full-screen. Is there any output from the projector at all when you do?

If not, it sounds like it need a professional repair.

Black (non-usable) screen on 1/3 of entire computer screen

from what your saying, it may be that your monitor may be going bad and may need to be replaced.

I suggest calling dell and try to get your monitor fixed,
or you may buy a seperate monitor, just make sure it has a VGA port so that you may use the monitor.
