This router ( WRT160N ) has issue with the firmware. It is recommended that you should upgrade the firmware of the router. Firmware is the software of the router. connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable. Do not upgrade the upgrade using the wireless computer. Download the firmware of the correct model number and version number. I trhink you can try to upgrade the firmware of the router. Firmware if the software of the router. Did you try to connect it directly to the modem. you can connect the computer directly to the modem and check whether it is working properly through the modem. hey friends..i just sent my nokia e61i which had its firmware failure during the updation process,,the problem is that its integrated circuit or I.C..is short circuited or what something like that..so the best option is to sent the phone to a nokia service center..i hav just sent mine..hope to get it back in a month...
Grab the software directly from the Philips website at www.usasupport.philips.com - enter in your model #, click on software and drivers, then click on Device/Frimware Manager - this is a more recent version than that found on the installation CD.
Also, you can follow the FAQ process on the website which says "Player not recongized by PC"
If that fails, do a repair and a firmware upgrade: 1) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) - if you don't see it, then re-run the installation CD or grab the "Device/Firmware Manager" from the Philips website 2) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button 3) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off (if you haven't done so already) - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new You will now be able to load the firmware upgrade by clicking on the update tab in Philips Device Manager. The firmware upgrade should resolve the issue permanently.
Find an XP computer with WIndows Media 10 only nothing higher. If you can't find a computer like that uninstall any WMP newer than WMP 10 and then reinstall WMP 10. There is a bug in WMP 11 and its just best to avoid this until you have upgraded your firmaware to 2.x. If you don't have the newer firmware 2.x download it. Now click on the firmware program then on your Zen Xtra select Load OS when prompt to connect the USB cable going to your computer. It should see your Zen now and should pop up that stupid window that you need to scroll at the bottom and click agree to get rid of then your Zen should reboot a few times don't touch it!! It will tell you when its done. If you can't get it to see your Zen try plugging and unplugging the USB cable. The best way is to do a fresh install of Window XP SP1 and install noting but WMP 10. You also can d/l the 1.x firmware then load it then load firmware 2.x then just agree with everything and it should work. I have upgraded and updated 6 of these Zen Xtras. Anyone that want a 120G Zen Xtra I am on Ebay: cheap-xbox-drives I also can do upgrades to your existing Zen Xtras Players.
