Hello, there is one application that an Android native, is called Android Device Manager. This app allow you to track, call and erase or lock your phone's data. There is one thing though, it needed to be active in order to work. But you can give it a try.
Do a search for Android Device Manager, it's usually the first one in Google search. After opening the site, type in your log in information (google account to which your phone was activated with).
Once the phone is with in Wi_fi range or is active with internet, you should be able to pin point the location of the phone.
As posted, the phone must have some kind of connection to get internet or data enable, otherwise, it just won't work.
This only works with Android phones.

Unless you have a tracking app installed on it that you can use, only your service provider or the police can find it. And then only if the phone is on so the signal can be triangulated when in use, or if the GPS tracker is active. Most thieves will shut them off immediately, then factory wipe them and sell them off. Unless you have a really good idea who took it, you're probably out of luck.

Hey i lost my mobile. how can i find it. please help me

Unless you had a smartphone with a program installed that can do remote tracking, you will not be able to locate your phone using its GPS. Here are some other steps you can try:

- Call your phone and leave a voicemail requesting its return, giving some contact info where you can be reached, and possibly offering a reward. (You may also hear it ringing if its nearby! If you don't have another phone, try placing the call cheaply over the web through Google Voice or Skype)
- Send a text message with the same information.
- Report your phone lost to your carrier and ask that they suspend service until you get another phone. This way, it cannot be used, if your carrier notices it being activated on another line, they will know it is stolen and not allow the activation.
- Post a "lost item" poster in the area where it was lost, or use other methods to notify people that the phone is yours. Some people are nice, and if you are lucky, it may be returned.

If this helped you, help me by giving a few thumbs up!

Sir i have lost my brand new Motorola cell phone (wx290). i want to distroyed my imei no. my cell pone imei no 3520490408547141

Call your phone service provider immediately to report the loss and suspend service.

If live support is not immediately available, access your account on the service provider's website to see if you can suspend service yourself online. Follow up with a phone call to your service provider in any event.

Ask whether your carrier can block your phone from being used even with a new SIM card. Provide your phone's International Mobile Equipment Identifier, or IMEI number, if requested.

Request a written or emailed confirmation from your carrier that your service has been suspended and blocked.

File a police report. Provide the police case number to your service or insurance provider, if requested.
Work with Available Software

Register your phone with online services such as or, to track your phone's usage or circulation from anywhere in the world. Regularly check your account online for any attempted usage.

Log in to your account at your phone tracking program's website. Follow the instructions and use the tools provided to locate your phone.

Once the phone is located, follow the program's specific instructions to remotely block your mobile phone and wipe it clean of information. Some programs also enable you to make your phone sound an alarm.

Only if you GPS is working, or in stand by. The manufacturer garmin should normaly be able to get the info if the stoler is using the GPS.

You have specific codes to the GPS, if you have it, you should be able to get in touch with garmin. (not all manufacturers provide this service.

Hi there.
Phone your service provider, tell them its been stolen, if its being used they will send a text to that phone which will disable it from being able to be used. As for tracking it has to have GPS installed in the original software.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!
