I just purchased a 160 gb Ipod Classic, 7th generation, and well... It turns on just fine, it has 3 games, and if I try playing one of the games, the Ipod restarts, I connected it to my computer to see if I could get updates, I downloaded and installed the latest ITunes first, and then plugged it in, and the Ipod shows up, but the Capacity is "n/a" So I can't really put any music or videos on it. but, also when I plugged it in, it told me that my Ipod appeared to be corrupt and wanted to restore it to faculty settings, so I said, "Ok" and clicked "Restore" And it downloaded a software update, and restored the Ipod, well, at the end of the restoring, the second stage, It has the status bar, and its almost done, and there is a little bit more space, say... Half of the end of your pinky, and it restarts. and when ITunes finally recognizes it again, it tells me it's been corrupted again, I tried it again, same thing, I tried a different cord, and the same thing happened, I tried on 2 different computers, the same thing happened... This is getting annoying, I got it for Christmas... what a beautiful Christmas present right? A broken Ipod... Well, if I can't figure this out, my dad is going to send it in and get it replaced.. but your help would be very much appreciated.
