Is it true that grandma Robinson is getting $160,000 a yr in retirement pay for babysitting Obama's children?

There was no truth to this report. The Boston Tribune is a fake new site that masquerades as the online arm of a legitimate big-city newspaper in order to lure readers with fabricated clickbait stories.
The Boston Tribune article provided links to the general landing pages of the National Taxpayers Union,, and the Civil Service Retirement System, both those links did not point to any relevant information.
The Former Presidents Act of 1958 provides lifetime benefits for presidents after they leave office. This law also provides some benefits for former first ladies (such as Secret Service protection), but not lifetime pensions for them (or their parents).
As the First Lady does not receive a salary or a pension, it is reasonable to assume that the unofficial position of "first grandma" is also unpaid and is similarly ineligible for a government pension.

What do you think of Wu's Plan?

Based on the history of the Earth Kingdom I conclude that Wu's idea is well meaning but ultimately naive. During the Hundred Years War, the lack of central authority in the Earth Kingdom greatly aided the Fire Nation's conquest. Furthermore, the Earth Kingdom states were independent for three years after Earth Queen Hou-Ting was murdered, and they weren't able to stand by themselves (which is why kuvira managed to gain control over them). It is apparent that most of these states don't possess the necessary infrastructure to maintain self-reliance while independent. Therefore, I believe the best form of government for them would be an Earth Federation akin to the United States or Russia in our world. That way, state and national government would be balanced in power. Furthermore, it would provide a way for the diverse peoples of their nation to work together in a way that would help them find solutions to their massive problems.

Is the movie Dirty Dozen based on a true story?

As far as I know there is no claim the film is anything but fiction and based on a novel as so many films are.

There were a great many agencies operating during the Second World War and quite a number of them operated in secret, from each other and even from the government, carrying on operations and initiatives that would usually be considered completely illegal or even totally unacceptable by normal people. I know of one such organisation, the details of which are still secret, that should England be invaded and occupied, planned to assassinate any puppet government installed by the Nazis.

Knowing such things it doesn't need much imagination to figure there could easily be a grain of truth in the plot of the Dirty Dozen - or perhaps more...

Did President Barack Obama cancel the National Day of Prayer and declare that we are no longer a Christian nation?

This is a chain email that is going around. There is some basis in fact with regard to the claims in the email, but the truth is that the National Day of Prayer has NOT been cancelled, nor has the President declared that we are not a Christian Nation. Truth be told, there is nothing that "officially" declares the US a Christian nation. Our roots may be steeped in Christianity, but the Founding Fathers made sure to state "officially" that the government would not recognize any religion as the "state" religion. This was to prevent the type of persecution that many religions faced in Europe. This is what guarantees us religious freedom in this country. It is also what the misinformed use to quote as "separation of church and state". They mistakenly believe that the meaning of those words that guarantee us religious freedom somehow means that anything or anyone that has ties to the government cannot openly practice their religion (ie: prayer in school).

hourie appears before CBI

Vinay Kumar

NEW DELHI: The former Telecom Minister, Arun Shourie, appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation here on Friday in connection with the probe into the 2G spectrum scam.

Maran's tenure

After a three-hour session at the CBI headquarters, he told journalists that he cited several instances of alleged irregularities during the tenure of his successor Dayanidhi Maran, before A. Raja was made Telecom Minister.

Mr. Shourie was the Minister in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government from January 2003 to May 2004,

"Mr. Maran was the Minister. What is A. Raja being accused of? Giving these 122 licences without spectrum, when there is no spectrum with the government? But it was in Mr. Maran's time that one sentence was put into the guidelines that there shall be no cap on the number of operators in a circle," he said.

Such a change, he argued, could only come in the form of a recommendation from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

As for Mr. Raja, now lodged in the Tihar jail here, he said: "Mr. Raja should become an approver and spill the beans. He did not follow the rules, and the main question remains: 'who took the money, which were all the telecom companies favoured, and who are the officers involved in this scam?'"
