NAT session table is full

For each connection (TCP or UDP) that your firewall manages to NAT (ie network translate) keeps track on a in memory table. If it gets full means you've too many open connections. This is often the case when using P2P programs such as Torrent, eMule etc.

You can:
1) reduce the connection usage on the P2P application
2) reduce the connection timeout, in order to force the firewall to close stalled connections, recovering some free entry on the nat table
3) upgrade the appliance to something more heavy duty. Any box running pfSense for example could be a good choice: the web GUI is quite similar to the ZyWall one, but the software is both free and more powerful...

Got a x box 360 keeps showing error e 74

E74: I/O Hardware Error - HSIO related, could be crc error, or many things: There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. Microsoft covers this error under their 3-year warranty, this is availble to anyone who hasn't modified their console. contact MS to get a free replacement console before attempting to fix this yourself. Failing that this error In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement

MY 2WIRE596 WIRELESS ROUTER WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED TO MY COMPUTER

There could be a number of things going on. I'll list some of them that you might check:
  1. Your wireless network does not have security enabled, and your neighbors are using it to download files using P2P networks. These P2P network connections are crashing your router. In order to resolve this issue, enable WPA or WPA2 security on your router per the user manual.
  2. One of the filters on your phone line has been removed or is failing and needs to be replace. Remove each filter on each line one-by-one and run your Internet connection for a while to see if it fails. Do this one-by-one for each filter.
  3. You recently started using 2.4GHz cordless phones in your home. Get rid of these cordless phones and buy DECT 6.0 compliant cordless phones that use a different radio frequency.
Hopefully one of these suggestions will fix your issue.

  5. Call your DSL provider and complain that their service drops-out on a regular basis.

Movie passwords

I would say delete them. If you downloaded them from a torrent site alot of times they are fakes that someone password protected so that you would follow their guidance to visit some site and sign up for something. The other possibility is that they require you to download some program to view the movie, which is actually a virus. If you did download it from a torrent site or some other P2P look and see if anyone made comments about the file. Sometimes they will have gotten the password or they will have more insight on the uploader.

How configure router for port used with p2p software?

First, know what your computer's IP address. This should be the computer that has the P2P software installed. (How to do this? Go here http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahse.html)

Then, open your Internet Explorer and type in on the address bar http://192.168.1.1and this should prompt you to login. Just type in admin for both the username and password.

Go to Advanced Setup > NAT > Virtual Servers

Click on Add then Make New One and use the name of your P2P software for the Server Name. Then your computer's IP address for the Server IP (which you have obtained when you did the first instruction).

Then for the rest of info required such as External & Internal Port Start and End and the Protocol, you may refer to your P2P software port configuration.

If you're not sure what it is, check the support website of your P2P software.

Hope this will help. Cheers x
