Question about Polaroid I531 Battery (Equivalent)
Charger won't charge polaroid batteries
The problem isn't the brand of batteries Vs. charger; the problem is the electrical rating of the charger Vs. the charging specifications for the batteries. First make sure that the batteries are the correct type; i.e., nicad, lithium ion, etc. Do not try to recharge alkaline batteries. Your batteries have a mili-amp hour rating either shown on the battery or in the manufacturers specifications that are available on line. Each battery type also has charging specifications. The battery charger is designed to provide a specified charging voltage and current to the batteries and those specifications must match the battery's design. Using the incorrect charging voltage and current can cause the batteries to overheat and even explode.
