Buy a micro-filter and connect it in line at the telephone wall socket. This site has an example for you to see how it goes. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/leaded-adsl-splittermicrofilter-a72ag Leaded ADSL Splitter Microfilter

Cordless phones

1) unplug all phones
2) plug them back in and check line.
If you still have the issue,!take a corded phone with. Phone jack coed to your box on the outside of the house. Usually gray, unscrew the first box - you'll see modules there - the one with the last four of your phone number is the module we'll use. Follow the directions on the box to open that module - plug your phone into the module. Here's the important thing - if you don't hear static, then the problem is from inside your house. If you call att to come out they will charge you - but that's the whole unplug the phones and centralize your base better. However, if you still hear static in the outside box, it's an att issue and have to come out at no charge.

Static lines

when you hear static you lines on your cellphone it maybe the time to replace your earpiece, if you don't hear static lines when you use a headset then your earpiece is busted but if you still hear static lines while on your headset it means that something's on your surroundings that interrupts your signal it could mostly be a radio or a metal that could strongly blocks your radio wave. if this is helpful, please vote for me

Telephone wiring- phone rings in once -static on line-call out works Seams to be worst after rain or great moisture. Sometimes clears up suddenky

I have the same problem. You might try taking a corded phone to the service box outside where the telephone line connects to your house. On the underneath side there is a line jack used for test purposes. Plug your phone in there to see if static is heard. If you hear no static from this test jack, but do hear static from in the house corded phones, you probably have a wiring issue inside the house. If you hear static from the outside test jack, that's the phone companies problem to fix. Hope this helps.

Static from SoundStation Premier

Check the phone cable you are using for your POTS line. Attach a phone directly to the phone jack and see if it is clear or static without the device.

Can't hear callers, but they can hear me

The problem might be the hearing volume. As far as I know, the only way to change it is in the middle of a call.

Here's what you should try...

1) Call someone.
2) Using the silver button on the left side of the phone, press the up arrow key a few times until the volume is all the way up. It will say "Hearing Volume".

Hopefully that will solve the problem and your phone will be working fine.

Static

The cordless phones have a button to change the channels that are within the radio freq. range. I would change the channels until you get a clear/static free call.

GE cordless phone 2.4 ghz

Your phone must be away from other appliances (i.e. microwaves, radios) and computer equipment (i.e. wireless routers, monitors). The phone runs on 2.4GHz which often conflicts with them.
