remove the cartridge and check that you have removed the tape across the print head
insert and press black button on the printer or next on the printer screen it should go to print test page which you then have to photo copy back into the printer so that it can realign the printer head .
Run a a deep cleaning cycle then run the alignment test and realign the head correctly. Then print the test sheet again. It sometimes takes a few cleaning cycles to get the ink flowing correctly especially if the prinetr is in a warm environment and has not been used for a while.
Nozzle check must perfect for perfect output. There are tranversal lines at vertical straight lines that represent same point of head micro piezo. If tranversal lines no clog at all, but vertical straight lines not perfectly straight, the result not good (like horizontal white banding). Check it? Head aligment is for vertical banding. If your result is horizontal banding, you don't need to realign head. It's caused by some residual at the output of head sprayer. So, the spray of ink not straight to paper. Try to print with photo/best photo.

also make sure you are using good quality ink for your printers. I use to have many problems with my printers and then i started purchasing my ink from www.yahootoners.com , you could not find a better price quality product anywhere else. trust me its worth it.
what you need to do is run your disk and it will print off a paper that you put in your scanner and it sets the alignment. Will you please send me a copy of your disk as that is what i need. email@example.com
