To attach a temporary staple, the strike plate is rotated. The ends of the staple typically flair outwards, making the staple very easy to remove and less likely to tear sheets.

I am asking how do I rotate this strike plate on this model?

SOURCE: AS 300 electric stapler--pulled out

What has most likely happened is part of a staple is stuck in the front portion of the stapler where it forms the staple and presses it into the stapler.
You would most likely have to remove the stapler, and remove the binding staple from the stapler head.

Refill staples impega hd111

Place the stapler horizontally in front of you, as though you were going to feed in paper from the right-hand side.
On the left of the stapler you will find the staple strip - the metalic box with two small holes in the top. Push the stable strip to the right and tilt upwards to release it. You should now be able to pull it out to the left.
Remove the staple strip completely, and place the new staples onto the track above the spring.
Re-attach the staple strip by reversing what you did to take it out. The end of the staple strip should sit across the track in the same way as the staples. Be aware that this time there will be more resistance as the staples push against the spring in the staple strip.

How to load staples into rexel easy touch stapler

If you imagine that the end that the staples come out of is the front, then the back is where you load the staples. Your picture shows a small black bit at the very back of the stapler. You have to remove this, usually by pushing it in and lifting it up. Once loosened, it should pull out from the back of the stapler. You should then be able to reload. Finishing is the reverse process.

How do I open the staple compartment? Already tried the back button

Pushing the button should eject the staple compartment from the front of the unit. It sounds as if the stapler compartment is jammed or corroded.
While pushing the button, attempt to pull the compartment from the front of the stapler. It should slide out like a drawer. Try pulling on the front of the compartment while applying a little pressure in different directions.
You may have to use a small tool to grab the compartment if you can't get a good grip. You may have to use some force. Use only as much pressure as you're comfortable with.
When you do open the compartment, inspect all moving parts and bearing points to be sure nothing is jammed, bent, corroded or seeing excess wear. Remove a jam with small pliers, being sure to get the entire staple. Use fine sand paper on corrosion and then treat with a bit of oil.

Do not know how to put staples in my powershot pro

Howdy, on that model, you withdraw the plunger and turn the stapler upside down and lay the staples on the track (on the botton of stapler, not in the back) with the points facing up. When you replace the plunger, it holds them in place. I really like the reverse stapling action on that model, easier on my wrist. Hope this helps some:)

The stapler is fixing two staples instead of one at a time.what can be the defect and how to correct it?

First check and make sure the proper staples are in the gun. Also check and make sure the stapler is clear and no jammed or broken staples are in the gun. If this is a desk stapler make sure the plate is locked in for the staple to hit and bend the ends out or in. if all this is working the driver or the piece of metal that pushes the staple out may be bent. If the stapler is new take it back if it is not a minor problem and get a new one.

Staples are stuck inside the stapler and will not come out

Typically you do not open these up.
Makes it difficult to remove stuck or wrong staples.
I have had good luck removing the staple ram rod and rapping firmly on the **** of the stapler against a wooden table. The idea is jolting the stuck staples into reverse out the way they went in. Tedious process but usually works. Removing the jammed staples in the nose at the striker plate requires using needle nose pliers and a sharp awl or small screw driver used on very small screws.
My T50 Arrow stapler is over 20 years old.
Still works great. Sometimes I slide in the wrong size staples by mistake. The process above usually works.
Good luck!
