My only suggestion is to Google your engine. My father-in-law (81y/o) remembers this engine. I thought possibly some current makers (Briggs and Stratton, Tecumseh, etc) might have parts that would interchange. He says no. It's a 1 off, singular manufacturer. Sorry. Trying to maintain vintage engines is such a pain.

What run capacitor is used on a Emerson LR63596 compressor motor. The number on the capacitor is not ledgable

Most motor capacitors are actually start capacitors. There are motors that use both a start and a run capacitor, usually combined into a single package but such motors are fairly rare.

As it isn't possible to identify the capacitor value you either need to approach a motor specialist for advice or to order a replacement as a spare part for either the machine or the motor from the manufacturer.

How do I change the lithium battery in my Garrison Programmable Thermostat Model No. 52-8896-6?

The front faceplate simply pulls off - no tools required. The Garrison uses 3 AA batteries. Once you pull off the faceplate you will see where the batteries go.
Hope this helps!!

My engines dead and i need to put a new one in, i have a 98 chevy cavalier 2.4 twin cam engine currently in it (dead)

are you sure the engines gone? have you had at least 2 certified mechanics tell you that you need a new motor? in todays age, some people do lie for money.sad but true. try calling a local mobile mechanic and have them come out and diagnose it {the motor} bad. unless you're mechanically qualified to diagnose it yourself. then, try a pull a part junk yard for used motor or a local part yard for used motor. if you do prefer a new motor, you can order a new motor from dealer,auto-zone,advance auto parts. the new motor price,i do not know. the used pull a part motor,i do. the motor cost is with warranty,is $210.00 in tn. in ga. thats you pull the motor yourself. the motor from a part yard that pulls it for you can be anywhere from $500.00 to $950.00 depending on how many miles are on the engine that's being removed. 1st myself, i would need to know for sure that my motor is really bad.just like a dr. before doing surgery, you need 2nd opinion. sorry, just the way i am. if you're mechanically inclined and can make the correct diagnosis, you can find a good used motor. if not and you're trusting someone else for parts, labor,i suggest you consider the cost of replacement, the cost of the labor, versus the cost of the entire vehicle replacement into another car. that's only being honest. good luck and thank you for choosing fixya.com!

Kick start lever is loose and teeth are not catching on the shaft. How do I replace? I found a part on ebay brand new in thailand but not sure if it will work since the previous owner changed the kick...

You may want to get a service manual to work on this one. The expanded parts diagrams that are available for ordering parts online will show you all the parts. If you can not find some picture of the 100cc models the 1974 CB125 is basically the same. The design of your motor dictates that you will have to take the engine out of the frame, pull the top end off, and split the cases to get in to the area that houses the mechanism you want to replace. You may be able to pull good used parts out of a salvage motor locally or even purchase a used motor or donor bike if the price is right. You will need a complete gasket set for the motor. As for the change in the kick shaft size, it may be that the shaft was replaced before with a shaft from the CB125. You may have to measure your shaft and then measure the shaft on the motor you are taking the replacement part out of. Chances are you need to replace several parts to repair the kick mechanism. You will have to disassemble the motor to find out everything you need to properly fix your classic.

The motor just humms loudly when I try to start it. If I give it a push it will start spinning, but boggs down if I put any food through it

Take the bottom plate off to expose the motor, drive belt, and pulleys (pull the power plug for this). Remove the drive belt and turn the motor shaft by hand--does it seem to turn freely? Do the same with the driven pulley--it should turn freely also. The pulleys and belt are likely cog-type and not prone to slippage. If either pulley shaft is excessively hard to turn, then investigate the reason, and replace parts if necessary. With the belt off, the motor should accelerate almost instantly. If relatively slowly, the motor may need to be replaced.
