I bought a rotary hammer drill from Asia 220V/60Hz & I want to use this in Canada 110V/60Hz Can I use Step down transformerconverter available in amazon or ebay?

Yes you can.
Make sure the transformer is rated for more power than the drill label states so that you don't burn up the transformer if you stick the drill bit.
For instance, if the drill is rated for 5 amps at 230 volts you should get a 1500 watt transformer. 230 x 5= 1150 watts; the next common size up is 1500 watts. You don't want an 1200 watt if it is available.
Transformers are also rated in KVA [Killovolt-amps] so the same transformer would be 1.5 KVA.
Do the math for your drill and save future problems. If a transformer doesn't have a rating with real numbers, avoid it. There are lots of really cheap ones on the market that you will regret buying.

Fisher and Paykel GWL11 washer not going into rinse cycle, getting error code 37

Pump should read
110V AC pump 60Hz 7Ohms +/- 8% @ 20oC
230V AC pump 50Hz 33Ohms +/- 8% @ 20oC
37. (00100101) Pump Blocked Error (No change in the water level)
While draining, the water level reading from the pressure sensor has not changed for over 3
minutes. There are three likely reasons for this fault. One is that the drain hose or the
pressure switch hose has been squashed or kinked and the pump out rate has been
dramatically reduced. The second possibility is that the pump is partially or fully blocked.
The third is that the pump is not operating due to Motor Control Module, wiring or pump
failure. This fault could also appear if the machine is pumping to an unusually high head of
drain hose or into an extended length of drain hose. The fourth possibility is a diverter
valve fault or blockage, water level is not altering as the diverter is stuck in the recirculation
mode, giving the module the appearance the pump is not lowering the water level.
Primary Source: Pump System.
Action: 1) Check that the drain hose has not been kinked.
2) Check the length of the drain hose and try to reduce the length if
excessively long. A 1-metre extension hose of the same diameter
fitted to the existing drain hose is the maximum allowable length.
3) Check for open circuit windings in the pump. (Note: Pumps are
fitted with a thermal cut-out, which will reset on cooling.)
4) If the bowl is empty of water, remove the pump from the pump
housing and check that it is not blocked. Also check the drain
hose is not blocked.
5) If the bowl contains water, then service the pump from the top of
the machine by removing the top deck and inner bowl. Bail out the
water, remove the pump cap and hood and clear the restriction.
Secondary Source: Wiring.
Action: 1) Check the pump harness is connected correctly to the pump.
2) Check continuity of the pump harness.
Tertiary Source: Motor Control Module.
Action: Activate the pump by operating the machine in spin mode. Check the
pump is rotating. If it is not operating, and Primary and Secondary
checks have been performed, then replace the Motor Control Module.

Our Fisher and Paykel excellence 5.5 smart drive 9, washes fine but when it comes on rinse cycle it wont drain the water and makes a humming sound.

Check your pump with a multimeter for correct reading
230V AC Pump 50Hz 33Ohms +/- 8% @ 20oC
110V AC Pump 60Hz 7Ohms +/- 8% @ 20oC
Also check for blockages that may stop pump from turning.
Disconnect from power & Bail out all the water you can before removing pump.

HLP021-wm fills with water, goes thru wash cycle, then rinse and spin lights keep blinking and the water stays in the tub. It stayed that way for several hours until I unplugged it,tipped it over and...

A common reason for long or no drain for blockage at the drain hose and check setting of the drain hose. If the hose is blocked or incorrectly set drain may not complete. See page ten of user manual about hose setting. Here the user manual.

If the hose is OK the problem is either water level switch or blockage at drain pump.Water level switch is located in control panel assembly. the part is a plastic disk connected to a long thin rubber hose that goes inside the tub. If the hose is dirty the switch will not detect drain is complete and drain will not finish. The pump is located at the bottom of the appliance. The hose connected to the pump may be blocked. In some case the pump itself may be defective. In that case the pump must be replaced. The parts for this unit are not expensive.

Parts can be ordered from Haier. Here the US website: Welcome to Haier America

Parts for this washer are also available here

Haier also makes available a service manual. Exploded view is not included.

The exploded view and part list are shown in the manual available here (Please download the manual and check pages 16-17 - a free subscription is required).

The VCMA-20ULS pump is not shutting off

These pumps have a float arm inside that tell the pump when to turn on and off, it sounds like your arm is stuck or broken. The top of the unit can be taken off of the reservoir to check for damage.

Good luck

Will not drain

im assumig that youve already had the machine tipped back and bottom cover removed, as you look at the pump there should be metal clamps securing it to the drain pump motor, you can release the clamps and the pump will release from the motor giving youbetter acess to the clamps..
BE WARNED if there water in the machine its comin out when you undo the clamp!!!! and if you need to order a new pump assy theyve since changed design and you must replace the drain pump/motor alltogether, not hard, but old pump no longer available

Eaton viking dishwasher

it may not be the pump.if it leaks when you run a wash cycle then the pump seal may be bad but if it only leaks when you drain it,it seems that its a drain hose/piping connection.
