Question about Samsung Q45 Notebook
I booted up in Safe Mode, and tried to return to a restore point afew dats ago when it was working properly, but this sort of petered out. .. Now I simply have a black screen. No sign of safe mode boot up.
Do you get BIOS Screen.
Then try installing using restore cd.
Try removing the battery and clean the points

1. Boot the computer in Safe mode( To Boot in safe mode you need to keep hitting the f8 keys while the computer Restart and you will prompt a screen which reads as Advanced boot Menu . in the windows please select safe mode with network ). An then try to login . and open misconfig and disable all the thrid party services and Restart the computer .
If you still have the problem boot the computer using vista Dvd . And select the option to startup repair option . That will fix the problem
