Your monitor has a built in ground incorperated in the power supply. If the power cord doesn't make a complete circuit when tested with an ohm meter you have a faulty power cord.

Sounds like your screen is going bad. It's either the screen or the video card inside of the computer, but most likely it's the lcd screen. Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop. You can Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker to connect to the laptop.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If the external monitor displays correctly that proves your video card is ok and your lcd screen is bad. If the external monitor displays the same as your lcd screen then your video card has a problem. The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

My monitor is shivering due to magnetic field tell me solution

Solution for many "jittery" or "shaky" or "shivering" monitor problems...

Be sure there are no power AC cords in direct contact with or very close to the monitor cable anywhere along its entire length. If no help, be sure the monitor and monitor cable are not very close to a wall that may have an AC power lines running in it. Also, be sure that you are using a "grounded" (3 prong) power cord, that is is not plugged into a "2 prong" adapter that eliminates the ground ("earth") prong, and be sure that your power circuit that you are plugged in to is properly grounded.

Tilt the screen so that light strikes it at an angle

If you look carefully at the screen can you see an image in the background.

If you can then the inverter for the backlight or the backlight itself has failed

No image is the LCD

Cheaper to buy another monitor !!!

Sounds like you could have an open ground? Also might check the wiring to see if you have a faulty connection in VGA cable or power supply cable
