Why wont my bobcat lift bucket

Hi John:
This is in the toys category.
If you're like me, and it is a real working bobcat, I understand. All of my machines are toys.
= So, assuming this is a really machine, you'll be dealing with a hydraulic problem, and if it were me, I'd be trouble shooting sort of like this:
WORK SAFE - All hydraulics lowered, machine off.
1) Check hydraulic tank fluid level.
2) Look under machine for any signs of leakage
3) Check all hoses, cylinders, and concealed spaces for signs of leakage.
4) Check pump for signs of leakage, make sure drive is engaged.
Please reply to this post as a comment and we'll carry on unless you've spotted the problem.
Cheers.

I added diesel to the hydraulic tank in my bobcat and never an it. I drained the tank, refilled it, and now the hydraulic system wont work.

You should use hydraulic oil, not diesel, drain it, refill it and if necessary bleed all the air from the system (some are self bleeding) Dependant on the type of hydraulic system you may have damaged the seals by using diesel oil, that, unfortunately is expensive.

!982 Bobcat/skidsteer 643 wont turn over, jump it and it starts up,new batt.new starter, cleaned all conection

Might check to see if the battery CCA (Cold Cranking Amp) rating is high enough. Often when people replace batteries, they opt for a lower price one which usually is also a lower CCA rating. If that is the case, your new battery simply doesn't have enough ooomph to turn it over. Jumping adds another battery in parallel which boosts the overall CCA rating. - Good luck!

Why won't my bobcat CT230 start?

Does the engine turn over on the starter. If not, check the battery and all battery & starter cables are tight.
Check you have sufficient fuel.
Check fuel lines, fuel filter, etc.
Check the spark plugs (unless its diesel). Make sure they are clean and carbon free. Make sure you have a spark at the plugs.
If it still doesn't start try warming the plugs in an oven (wait until the wife is at the supermarket) or use a product like Easy Start.

have a load test done on the battery to check for a dead cell. IF the battery is dead then there will not be enough current to work the electronic controlled hydraulic valves . I imagine this machine has joy sticks for controls and not linked levers to the valves.

Bobcat 553 f - traction lock problem...help

sounds to me like a bad connection or a weak solenoid causing the voltage drop. a good alt charges at 14.25-14.50. it takes voltage to open solenoids not close them.
