Make sure you are putting the network key correctly...if you dont know tha network key.. try the following.. . Connect a computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports.
2. Open the browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
3. Access the router usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar.
4. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
Click on wireless settings (under setup) from left menu.
Change the channel to 11
*-security option > select wep.. in KEY 1 put a ten digit number .... nothing under passphrase ..
Apply settings to save the changes.
*-then try to connect your PS 3
I hope the steps above will help resolve the issue. If you need any further help, please email us back so that we can continue to work on a solution.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is netgear dg 834 g support daynamic ip and static ip in same time

Hi!

You cannot. Only one configuration can be set to it but workaround is you can use 2 routers, and set the other for static and the other to dynamic to serve its purpose.

Hope this helps.

CANT RUN XBOX LIVE AND MY PC HAVE NETGEAR ROUTER

Open port numbers UDP 88 and TCP 3074 pointing to the IP address of the XBOX. Make sure that the IP address of the XBOX is within the IP segment of the router. Ex. if your router has 192.168.1.1 IP address your XBOX should have 192.168.1.x IP address.
