I believe your video card in your tv has failed. Search your Model/Brand and Serial number on Fix ya. Or list the information in your question, so we can narrow down an answer for you. I had the same problem, and through this site was able to replace my video card myself and my tv has been working fine ever since. 2 years or so. The information i found, or users supplied me, lead me to a company where I was able to purchase the card, refurbished and install it with the directions provided with the new card.

Well i reformatted my computer and forgot to backup the drivers for the sound card, video card. i dont remember what brand and model my sound card is, which makes it hard for me to find a driver...

Right-click on My Computer and go to properties. Under the Hardware tab click Device Manager. Your video card should be under "Display adapters" and your sounds card should be under "Sound, video and game controllers". If the information's not there, then you'd have to open the case and physically check the components.

My audio drivers and other drivers are not working/missing

hey,

i had similar problems before...

1. check if you have a sound card installed
1a. you can try, run-> dxdiag, and see if theres any info regarding sound card, like the model number, manufacturer etc.
2. look at the back of your computer case, the blue, green connections, (not the keyboard/mouse pair), if they exist, good. just making sure it's there.
3. open up your computer case to see if you have a sound card installed as part of your motherboard or separately
3a. if the sound card is not part of the motherboard, find the part number on the card and look up the manufacturer's website for the corresponding driver. download it and install it.
3b. if the sound card is part of the motherboard, find the part number of the motherboard, go to the manufacturer's website for driver information, again, download it and install it.
4. you prob need to restart, do what it says.
5. to check if things are good, go back to control panel, device manager, and see if your computer detects anything from your sound card.

hope this helps. :)

I have install the windows xp in my C797VU model. but while installing the sound driver a message appears that"no sound device is found"

You could have a loose sound card. Somehow the card may have been jostled and is be firmly seated in the PCI slot. The easiest way to determine the nature of the problem without opening the computer case is to do the following:

Goto Control Panle>Go to Sound, Speech and Audio Devices,>Sound and Audio Devices Click it Once...When the Properties Window Pops Up..Click on the Hardware Tab> You will see all your installed Devices including sound card. (If you don't see it--it may not be installed)

If you see it highlight and click on it...You will discover if the card is installed and or operating properly. If you must go inside the computer case..It will just be a simple matter of pulling the card out and reinserting firmly in the PCI Slot

How do i know what type of my sound driver is. My PC having a problem with no sound at all.

You will need to turn the power of your computer down completely, Open the side of your case. Locate the sound card and find the brand name & model number. Write down this information and do a google search for any possible drivers for this model. Be careful when venturing inside the case and never let any static electricity touch any of your components.

Sound Device

Hi Jeenny, open the PC case, look for a white slot on the motherboard. You can add a PCI sound card to the PC. If you look on the case (Unless it's a case you bought), there should be a sticker with the make & model number printed on it. Post that information here & I should be able to help you more.
Click on the link below, these are PCI sound cards for desktop cases.
