That's not good. Something is getting way to hot. Do you experence the said issue with the battery removed? I would suspect the battery as well. A capacitor, PSU? I would take it to a qualified computer tech A.S.A.P. It COULD be a fire hazzard. Have you GOOGLED the problem or searched the ACER website for recalls of the battery? The fan will run as soon as you boot, but when the laptop gets to a pre determined temp, say hot, the fan spins at a faster rate. That would be normal. Also, are the fan and vents free of dust? Is the laptop getting sufficent air flow in and around the fan and vents? Does it happen at a certain time or place? Perhaps a Laptop Cooler?

Paslode impulse framing nailer , iv cleaned gun and oiled , the fan works etc . seems to only fire if i have fully charged battery ,once used for about five minutes it stops firing . only way to get it...

When it stops firing is the little light on the side of the handle green or red? If it is red then the battery is draining down too quickly. Either the fan switch has malfunctioned causing the fan to run all the time (I have seen this before) or you got either a faulty battery or charger.

Gun was jamming up so i cleaned it now green light flashes but if i disconect wire put battery in then plug wires back in fan runs then stops and green light flashes again what could it be

the green light flashing means the tool is ready to fire. when the trigger switch is depressed or the safety activated the fan will run for a short time and automatically shut off. if the tool is not firing then it could be a loose connection of the circuit board or the spark unit. Let me know what the exact problem is and I will try and help further. Also check the expiration date on the bottom of the fuel cell.

Dell 1501 on start up the fan runs for a sec then it stops.but dose not run. press the power button once more and it clicks off, I installed a new battery and charger. With no change.

This sounds like a motherboard issue, but first! remove the hard drive to see if the Dell logo comes up, if no! swap out your ram one at a time to see if it will fire up, if no change, dis-connect all external drives and the internal dvd drive, if you still can't get any life, "suspect the motherboard"

The problem of intermittent firing began some time ago. Now the gun will not fire at all. The gas bottle is full and the battery is fully charged. I disassembled and cleaned the gun. It subsequently fired...

what is the expiration date on the bottom of the fuel cell?? Also what were the condition of the o rings and did you relube with a good quallity oil. What I would do is remove the front assembly to expose the fan only and then insert a battery, pull the trigger and the fan should run for a few seconds, next there is a roller lever towards the top, depress it keeping fingers away from fan and again it should run for a few seconds, next depress and hold the lever and then pull the trigger and you should see it fire, repeat this several times, that will narrow it down to the spark unit/electronic assenbly or the cylinder.

Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

Paslode fixing gun has stopped firing

Do you have gas cylinder in,if so is gas expiration date on bottom of cannister, change gas to current fresh date. Also open nose of nailer and see if a fastner has logged ,remove and push plunger pin back into body,be sure to remove battery during these tests.
