then scan it ( id bet its telling you why it fails now!!!)
if you read the 08 FSM manual id bet you'd see it dont work like you think, (computers now, like the BCM)
this car has" Module Front Control" brain. that runs all you just stated.
that means scan first , ALWAYS.
i have the 2010. with full docs and on yours, its the same.
fuses that look bad are.
fuse that look good can in fact be bad,
(hair line cracks happen, often) learn to use an meter.

this module needs 2 things to work right
full 12vdc power (is battery low?)
no communications error, (no scanning for these is a FAIL moment)

some circuits are not with simple thermal fuses.
the WK has many electronic current limiters now.
no fuses. that shut down on shorts. and wake up on correction,
like magic, (true electronics does this, car makers just learning now...)
