I have a snap on tool box that the key turns but the lock wont unlock how can i open the roll away to get at the lock

if you can see the linkage between the top draw and the section holding the lock the only way to see what is going on is to drill the lock out or call your snap on dealer and see if he has a trick to do it

1995 nissan altima headlight issues

Is this what you have? Does the locking ring screw on or does it snap? Do you see a tab or anything that might have broken off? Can you compare locking rings from one side to the other? Or maybe try a locking ring from the other side for testing? My biggest problem is I can't see anything from here.

How do i remove gear knob and gaiter on 2005 vw passat

For this year, the knob wasn't screwed on, it was more of a snap on rig. The easiest way is to just get some leverage and pull like hell! Or use a screw driver. Just be careful not to scratch anything! Good luck!

Bearing replacement on 7800

The best way to sand drywall is to use a pole sander (manually). You can pick them up for about $20.

This particular machine tends to leave grooves in the drywall compound if you are not familiar with how to use it.

If you should have any questions about "Drywall Finishing/Patching", or know someone who does, put your questions to Category:"Tools- Building & Power- HAND TOOLS" at FixYa.com

Hope this helps,

Jim

My key broke off in the ignition ,how do i remove the lock cylinder

Just an idea - could save a hell of a lot of time and money, but it depends how the key snapped if you can get the glue to stick...
you can put a tiny drop of crazy/super glue on the snapped part of the key, put it in the lock and make it so its perfectly touching the key, you can take the old bit of key out of the lock when it sticks and have a locksmith make you a new key from the two bits... cheaper than an ignition barrell.
use the tiniest speck of glue possible, use a hair or whisker to get a tiny drop of glue onto the key, put it in the same way round it snapped off so the two faces mate together properly - after 2 minutes pull out the key, if it is stuck give it a wiggle and still pull...
any glue that gets in the lock can be removed with nail varnish remover (acetone)
Dont know about how to remove the cylinder sorry...

How the hell does the skirt go on this piece of ****?

Put the metal frame on the board - then turn them upside down. The skirt has four slits - where the knobs on the bottom of the board come through - pull the material tautly while snapping on buttons.

I had the same issue with my 2008 w/ moonroof. It's tough but you just have to evenly apply pressure on both sides and pull it straight down. There's two pressure clips that are holding it. I replaced with LEDS, the rear was tough as well!
