Hi, my Dell 1320C has started making a squeeking noise when it prints. It's like some rolling parts need oiling. Any suggestions?

I have two HP Color Laserjet CP3525n printers for my home office. I've owned many HP laser printers and color laser printers (Konica) and none of them have ever made load squeeking noises while...

These are not the quietist printer I have dealt with. Most of the squeeking noises we have encountered in servicing are related to the drums in the cartridges. Are these original cartridges or refills? If original and units are still under warranty, I would go after HP to deal with the noise. If you are using refilled or remanufactured cartridges, some noise is just part of the money saving tradeoff you make.

Sumsung 600CLP Lazer Jet printer has a squeeking

I assume the printer is at least a couple years old or it has been used extensively.

The squeaking could be caused by some normal wear and tear of the printer. If you feel daring enough, you'll need to remove the side covers of the printer and locate the gears connected to a shaft on one side of the printer. Each shaft goes to the opposite side of the printer, where it ends in a bushing. The bushings wear out and start to squeak. You can lubricate the bushings with a very small amount of white lithium grease, taking care not to put any grease on the roller.

Is there an easy fix to the Dell 1710 that squeeks prior to and during the print cycle? I recently replaced the catridge and image drum.

If you power up without the cartridges and it runs without noise then the problem is in the new cartridge or drum, if it makes noise even with them out then you may need a new fuser assembly. may have that unit.

Beeping when printing

Don't want to call you wrong, but these printers don't have speakers, thus they don't have a programmed beep. You may be hearing a squeek. Sometimes the drums on the toner cartrdiges may squeek.
