Frigidaire Affinity ultra capcity front load washer is not sencing the load it spins but the light stays lit on load sencing and will not fill with water! I have tried getting an error code with no luck!...

If your problem is No water coming IN the machine, then it is One of your two water inlet valves need replacing. Feel the water that IS NOT coming in. That will tell you which valve. Cold only water means the Hot water valve is bad. If the water is NOT leaving the machine it will not spin and you need a New drain Pump installed.

My dishwasher is leaking water from the front door

The water inlet level setting could be faulty and thus "overfills" the washer with water. The water level is senced via a plastic tube feeding an ajustable switch. Sometimes the plastic pressur sence pipe gets clogged and water level is then not correct. The switch can have burnt contacts and might need replacing.

BEKO DE2541FS dishwasher - starts up, sounds like it's taking in water but then doesn't run through the cycle.

Most modern washers dont have pressure switches but a water pulsating module which sences how much water that goes in the chamber. If the pulsator does not function correctly(assuming the water pressure is correct) ,then it wont send the correct water input signal to the processor.Could be a few other reasons, but info given is limited.

Ugh- i think my ID got sucked under the wash plate. i have a calypso top loader. can i take it apart?

Yes, you can take it appart. Be advised that absolutely everything that was assembled, canb dissassembled as well.
And to get your ID back, just get yourself some tools, and start dissassembling And look for it after screw or bolt taken off
I can't give you any details, as even you are not sure where exatly it got stuck now, so just use common sence, and after you'll put it back together, we'll have another FixYa Expert with expertise about top-load washers.

Good Luck

You need to replace the door interlock. Try giving the handle a firm push and see if the machine will start.

Long wash cycles

WHEN YOU WASH IS THE WATER HOT ENOUGH IN A REASONABLE TIME? ALSO DOES THE WASHER SENCE THE AMOUNT OF SOAP THATS IN THE TUB. IT COULD BE GIVING ADDITIONAL RINCES TO REDUCE THE SOAP CONTENT.(TRY WITH NO SOAP IN SYSTEM AND SEE IF TIME IS SHORTER)
