It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to or and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

"Busy" Flashing. Delaying time

How long does it take for the image to be saved? I used to have an older camera that took 4-5 seconds to save picture while a red "busy" light flashed. Some cameras just aren't as fast as others and so you may want to buy a new one.

I have ttds card for the old ds,had it working fine for two yrs until I tried to update the software. I reinstalled the old software and still doesnt work. Do I need to buy a new 1 TTds card or can I try...

This recently happened to me. You probably will need to buy a new card as your old one doesn't support the new firmware which is why it got fried. Nintendo's anti piracy measures in place, so make sure the new card you buy can support the new firmware upgrade.

How do I get the camera to stop hesitating when taking pics. I miss so many shots because of the delay.

I suggest you take a back up of your camera memory card & after that format the card. If your memory card is virus infected or if he finish his life time working capacity then its happend. So 1st format it after that fix it back. Now reset the camera settings & try. I hope the problem will solve then, If not then go & buy a new memory card. Thnaks & waiting for your feedback.

Long delay before can shoot another picture

This can happen when the card is nearly full or you've been deleting the pics but never formatting the card to give it a fresh start. Download any pics from the card and then format it in the camera.

There's no delay start on our new Miele W3740 washing machine. Can we use an electronic timer in the plug socket to delay the program start (cheap night-time use of electricity)? Thank you. Gerald

yes you could use a delay plug if it dont over rate the plug,,,check how many watts your washer pulls and how many watts the delay plug can handel first,,,if its more than the delay plug can take dont try it or you may just have a fire on your hands,,
even with cheap electricity is it worth that?

hi thanks for using fixya!!!

You know what, I experienced the same problem, What i did, I bought a new microSD card 2GB, and now it is working fine.

I suggest to you that, try to reformat your SD card, then insert it again, if still the same, buy a new one, it is very affordable I can say.

Good luck!!!

Hi daryano

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber

You want to know how to get the delay to work?

Most models work this way: Washing dishes the first time sets the favorites and the next time you start it the favs come on automatically provided you haven't changed the settings. So after the first use just hit delay and nothing else and when the dalay time is up it should work fine.

Help with digital camera!

Hey xrebecca26,
I am assuming you are referring to zoom range of the lens when you say 16-18. Finding a camera with a 16-18x zoom range for $250 or less is going to be difficult to do, but does have the Canon sx100is in your price range and it has a 10x optical zoom. As far as shutter delay goes most new camera's do a pretty good job at this I would suggest just trying it out before you buy the camera. Shutter delay is caused by the camera having a small buffer where the images are temporarily stored while the camera writes the images to your memory card. Buying a memory card with a fast write speed should greatly reduce shutter delay. I hope this helps!
