Y 3 yr old put my zte z992 in anither language , hoew do I get it back in english ?

If you can identify the language, you can go online to a translator site and pick your way through to the settings. Refer to your owner's manual for the steps to change the language so you know what to expect, translator sites are sometimes not very accurate and you'll have to match up the results with what the manual shows.

If you don't recognize the language, post one or two samples of system messages or a menu in the comments. I'm pretty fair at identifying common languages, even those I don't know, and some others may even be able to read what you have.

I can't turn on my bluetooth?my laptop model is aspire 4741Z? how can I?

bling187.jpg
Your ASPIRE 4741 Laptop BLUETOOTH can be turned 'ON' by :

A) ExpressCard (only for certain models)
The ExpressCard is the newest version of the PC Card. It is a smaller and faster
interface that further enhances the usability and expandability of your
computer.
ExpressCards support a vast number of expansion options, including flash
memory card adapters, TV-tuners, Bluetooth connectivity and IEEE 1394B
adapters. ExpressCards support USB 2.0 and PCI Express applications.
Important! There are two types, ExpressCard/54 and ExpressCard/
34 (54mm and 34mm), each with different functions. Not all
ExpressCard slots will support both types. Please refer to your
card's manual for details on how to install and use the card, and
its functions.

* The FCC RF safety requirement:

The radiated output power of the wireless LAN Mini PCI Card and Bluetooth
card is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, the
notebook PC series shall be used in such a manner that the potential for human
contact during normal operation is minimized as follows:
1 Users are requested to follow the RF safety instructions on wireless option
devices that are included in the user's manual of each RF option device.
Caution: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance
requirements, a separation distance of at least 20 cm (8 inches)
must be maintained between the antenna for the integrated
wireless LAN

B) You may need to (RE)INSTALL Aspire 4741 BLUETOOTH Drivers/Applications to enable functionality. Drivers for this particular model can be accessed from Acer's Support Website at

http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=2424

*Several choices with several versions are available for download here. Refer to the documentation included with your laptop for more details of the actual Vendor (Broadcom OR Atheros) of your Aspire's BLUETOOTH card.... usually a sticker on the underside of the unit will provide this information as well!

How can I change the language on my laptop?

If you just want to change the keyboard and general language settings, you simply go to the Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Regional/Language settings and change your language.

If your friend installed the Turkish version of WinXP (i.E. all the alert boxes are in Turkish) and you want to modify it to another language - that's a totally different and more complex situation.

In order to change the whole system language you can install a newer service pack in a different Language or uninstall the last installed Service Pack and after changing the registry settings below Install it again.
!!!Make always a backup of your Registry first !

You have XP SP2 in Turkish and want to change your systmes language to English, you will have to download SP3 in English (link).
(You can change the language here to another one before the download.)
Then you will have to change some registry keys. (Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlNlsLanguage Registry Key), and change the value for “Default” and “InstallLanguage” from 041F (Turkish) to 0409 (English).
Reboot and you'll be able to install SP3 in English.
If no problems occur, you will have the whole system language changed.
Here is the List of numbers that represents each language in the registry:

* 041C = "sq;Albanian"
