350Z horn not sound loud

You have 2 horns, high and low, check out the connections there and the ground, could just be loose, not normal for horns to go out at this year.Have some one blow horn and listen to both to make sure both are working,One might be bad,or connections are rusted, get sand paper and rough up to get better connection,if this don't work, guess what,as you know, horns are not cheap, replaced mine on my 85 Nissan 720 4x4.Now they are loud.

check for lose or corroded conections to the horn, if still no good than replace horn (usually located behind front bumper).

Horn does not work

This is common with Harley's horns. There is a screw on the backside of the horn. Turn this screw in very small increments until the horn starts sounding again. If it never does, you need a new one. Make sure you check the ground on the horn.

Horn doesn't blow loudly on 2002 Escalade

It's possible that the horn exit passage is plugged with debris, but these things are usually a sealed unit which must be replaced. There should be two horns that blow together located one on each side of the radiator--if one is dead, the sound is greatly reduced. Some horns have an adjustment screw that will optimize the sound level. Hope this helps!

Location of a 2003 dodge stratus horn, also not loud enough

Horns are usually in front of the radiator and behind the grill--look for two of them, one on each side. Make sure they both sound. If only one works, there is a significant reduction in sound level. There may be road debris stuffed into the horn's throats--poke a hooked stiff wire into the throats and see if anything comes out. Most are sealed and can't be taken apart to clean--replacement is about the only recourse. (look in a wrecking yard for replacements)

Car makes loud noise on passenger side near head light.

sounds like the blower fan. what type of chevy is it. a full size has the fan on the passenger side firewall. should be easily accessible. just disconnect the wire and test the car. if it stops making noise , that is the problem, also turn on the fan speeds to different settings, if if changes sound , that is the problem
