Lost remote control

Hello
if you want to buy a new original remote control to your DVD player, just contact the nearest authorised service center for GE at your town. If you want to buy a universal remote control, you have to buy one, which has GE DVD setup codes. The setup codes can be checked from its catelogue. Just buy one, which has GE DVD setup codes, on its codes list.

I need a code # to program my Universal RCA remote for my Prima TV and my DVD player

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Prima TV ( without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0761, 0783, 0815, 0817. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
I assume your DVD has been attached separately, and not built into the TV. In some cases, you might not need an additional setup code. Once the TV has been turned on, you simply push the DVD button on your remote, to activate the DVD. The instructions which came with your remote and your DVD should provide you with more details. If the instructions indicate that an additional DVD setup code is required, then please respond by telling me the brand name of your DVD.

Is it multiregional

Sony are probably the most protective manufacturer of this kind of information. All manufacturers carrying a DVD logo are obliged to say "no" but will normally intentionally leak this to boost sales, particularly in non-US areas.
