Dxpw3025 motor drops rpm when triggers pulled

Look at the size of your spray nozzle, it may be too small causing excessive back pressure and thus excessive strain on your engine. Your nozzle should be a 3.0. If you are using the 25 degree nozzle for example, it should say 2503 on the side of the nozzle.

Spray can won't spray how to fix

Pull the nozzle straight up and out. Grab a nozzle from another can that looks to be the same and try that one. You may have to try multiple nozzles. You can also buy nozzles on ebay, but they are usually more than the price of the can.
If this doesn't work, then the can may be faulty, or if very old (many years) it may no longer have pressure even though there's still paint inside.
Another thing to check is if the ball inside rattles when you shake the can. If it doesn't, the paint might be hardened in the can.
Remember next time you finish painting to wipe off the nozzle, turn the can upside down and spray until almost no more paint is seen.

I just got a Dewalt DXPW 3425 do they have a less powerful spray tip than 40*. Or is there a way to adjust the spray to a much lower output for more delicate deck woods? Thanks Mike in Oregon

Tips are described with two numbers. There is the "size" in gallons per minute and the spray angle in degrees. If you increase the nozzle size the pump sprays the same amount of water ( they are positive displacement pumps) but it will come out at a lower pressure. If you increase the spray angle you decrease the impact pressure over a wider area. A zero degree nozzle has the greatest impact on the smallest area. The largest spray angle is typically 40 degrees and has the "softest" impact. There are lots of nozzle charts online that will tell you the pressure output at various sizes and gallons per minute. Usually paint supply stores have nozzles and can help you get the size you want.
Another way to decrease the power of the spray tip is to simply hold it farther away from the target. The pressure decreases by the square of the distance. ( moving the tip away a little decreases the impact a lot) Experience helps with this technique. Start with the tip a foot away and slowly move it closer to get the maximum cleaning with the minimum damage to the deck. You have to be careful or a momentary lapse of concentration can lift the grain of the wood in a second. The nozzle size is much more fail safe.
Going to a larger nozzle size and wider angle is better than adjusting the bypass valve.

My honda excel 2600 psi pressure washer do not have any pressure when i squeez the trigger

Trash in, worn or damaged inlet and outlet valves are one possibility. Unloader valve stuck open or badly worn would also cause low pressure. Wrong spray nozzle size is another. Is the nozzle the right size for your pump?
Is water leaking from under the pump? That would show worn high pressure seals.

Hole in nozzle needs to be adjusted

The spray nozzles have a small ball in the end that you can move it around with a piece of small wire or needle the size of the hole . push in the wire about the dia. of the little ball and move the ball to the position you want to hit the screen IF the ball is corroded in place you will have to get new nozzles

We are having trouble getting the spray gun to pull the paint through. It will spray air but does not spray paint.

when you pull the trigger can u see the needle moving backward? if so, then it's either the paint is too thick compare to the nozzle size or the passage for paint is blocked. try to take the nozzle, needle and the cup off and give it a good clean!

No steam no spray from Iron...pump on tank is working Iron is getting hot

It is most likely a clogged nozzle. You need to use only distilled water in the iron cause the calcium and minerals will clog it.To clean the nozzle, buy some Lime,Calcium and Rust cleaner and soak the nozzle in a small container of it.If it isnt to clogged ,you can even clean it with vinegar.

Exhaust front pipe nuts rusted on

Try using a size 10 metric thin walled socket drive to fit nut with a little force. Use plenty of WD-40, soak the nut and stud. Try to turn nut for 1/8 turn forward, spray WD-40 then turn bolt back until it feels that it is stuck, turn nut 1/2 turn forward, spray WD-40 and try again to unbolt, everytime it feels it is stuck move nut forward, spray WD-40 then try again to unbolt. It is a slow process as it to prevent stripping the rusted nut and stud. Have fun.
