Did you install it correctly? the base ,emitter and collector may not be in the same order on the erf210 as it was on the one being replaced.check it out I'll bet they are reversed.

Want 2 remove stock speakers n install after market. Need 2 know how 2 remove stock speakers corectly

There are several sites that offer step by step procedures to remove stock speakers, for a small fee. Most replacements involve removing the door panel. I strongly recommend coughing up the minimal cost for these directions. You can replace your speakers, and if you sell your car, you can replace the stock speakers back where they go.

Need to install after market radio.need diagram for wiring

If the car and radio\speakers are stock, most car audio places and\or the internet sell direct conversion wiring harnesses which remove the headache from a lot of install jobs. Just a thought...

New install only powers up and ejects momentarily then powers down modle kd-416 reset does not work

remove unit, read instructions line for line and find out what screws were installed incorrectly or which are needed.
Take the the harness and check each wire for proper connection. I always solder and heat shrink mine to a sub harness and then the stock wiring harness stays stock.
Try the stereo out again but do not install it all the way this time. hold it and try the cd. If it works, you probably had the chassis binding or something. Too much pressure somewhere.
Or it is a bad unit that needs to be returned.

Installing in 2002 kia sedona and the harness is a different configuration .Are there adapters to allow usage. Thanks

Auto Zone, or a local car audio store should sell a stereo installation kit that will have the surround for the new stereo to mount in and fit where the stock radio was. It will also have a wiring harness adapter to plug into the stock radio connector.

Stock radio

removed the panel below the radio, clips hold it in and you have to yank it out without damage. then there are two 8mm head bolts behind that panel facing up. they hold the whole frame for the audio and climate controls. then push on that frame with your fingers to pop out the whole panel that the radio and the climate controls are mounted to. then simply disconnect the harnesses and remove the climate controls(three screws and the dials pop off). now you can get to the four 8mm bolts that hold the audio unit in.

What would I need to take out the stock radio in a 1998 Mercedes C230 and install a JVC KDR200?

You would need MB removal tool( you can get it at wal-mart for about $7 bucks. You also need aftermaarket wiring harness for that car(Crutchfield.com) and possibly installation kit.Send me a pic of the housing where radio is located and I'll help you from there.

I have a 3300 connex, something is heating up, you key up and watch power decline, hooked up to an external meter talk back has been modified, radio has had some mork done in the past, all in case

if it has the RELAY talkback. REMOVE IT !!! put back to stock after few months to year or so. it will mess up the radios..
but power prob. check the rf finals, and audio transistors. those two will cause low rf power.

How to remove factory 05 g35 coupe 6sp

The stock radio system is three pieces. You have the outer display, behind that is the audio circuit board, and behind that is the actual radio, which looks like a plain square silver box. The shifter knob should have a piece on the bottom that snaps in. That piece slides down and there is a gold cotter pin that holds the shifter knob on. Remove the cotter pin with a small screwdriver and the knob will lift off. In order to remove the radio you have to remove the shifter knob, the console trim in front of the arm rest, and the radio trim should just unsnap and come out. If you are wanting to install a aftermarket radio, I would consult with a car audio store as to what is involved with this installation, because you are likely to get in over your head.

Connecting to a steering wheel buttons

Unfortuantly the steerring wheel audio controls can only interface with a stock radio. Once you replace the stock radio the buttons are useless and cannot be hooked up to any aftermarket radio, this goes for all makes and models of cars with audio controls on the wheel.

Hope this helps
