hooked rugs produce the highest amount of friction opposing the brush rotation, which can over heat the drive motor. try using a height setting that raises the brush so that it barely touches the pile. If this issue has been going on for some time, you may need to replace the drive motor.

IF it is belt driven brushes, replace the belt. If not then the motor is most likely bad.

You will need to pull the roller out and clean it. I think some of the strings are tangle up at the end of this roller. (Most rollers will come apart at the end for cleaning.) Make sure that the strings are not tangle up on the belt pulley as well. I hope this will help you.

How to clean sebo rug brush


there's a button lock on the top of the nozzle and the bottom of the vacuum where they meet. That should release the carpet nozzle from the vacuum cleaner easily.. you may have to jiggle it to get it loose, but there's a button lock mechanism that holds it in place

On a Royal #CE6600 it will not spray water on rug,


spray opening may need cleaning (small wire may work)

Will not spray


The heater is probally clogged. Remove the upper housing and locate a rectagular shaped object in the middle of machine. Remove six bottom screws and clean with stiff brush, clear all lines then run 3 tanks of hot water trhought he system to clear it.

Suction


No suction, but agitator was spinning and free of debris. Filters were clean. Finally disconnected both ends of the hose and discovered a giant fiber ball clog, the result of a new area rug shedding. Pushed it free with a broom handle.
