Hi there, if you are talking about the Connex CX 3400 HP there is no sideband or SSB on this radio. It is only AM and FM 10 meter Ham radio. Many people do modify these radios to include the 11 meter frequencies which is the CB band. Maybe knowing the actual bands and their frequencies will help some too this radio does have 6 different bands ranging from (Band A. 28.015 thru 28.455) (Band B. 28.145 thru 28.585) (Band C. 28.115 thru 28.555) (Band D. 28.085 thru 28.525) (Band E. 28.055 thru 28.495) (Band F. 28.025 thru 28.465.) I hope this will help you. Bob
CB radios and hand-held CB radios can operate on the same channel and be in contact with each other. Other hand-held radios do not operate on the same frequencies and even though they may have channel numbers the channels have different frequencies and will not operate to CB radios.
Had the same thing happen with a Night Owl 8 cam system. I set the resolution too high (1900x1200 I think) and it said Frequency Out of Range on my monitor. I could not find a solution so I finally disconnected the dvr and took it to a large lcd hd tv. I connect through the vga cable and it worked. I reduced the resolution back down to something I know would work on my monitor and all is good.
A 22 channel transceiver is an American system call FRS/GMRS radios which are actually illegal in the UK and rest of europe. They use different frequencies completely and will not work together on you other PMR radios.
these are FRS radios, and use only the 14 FRS channels within the GMRS band. they will not operate on the other GMRS channels in the GMRS band.
