Question about Saeco Incanto Rondo Fully Automatic Coffee Maker Black Espresso Machine
Hello. Im a coffee machine technician who works on commercial machines. A friend of mine has given me his machine so as to rectify a problem to do with internal grinder. Having not opened one of these units before I thought I'll have a look. The idiot put ground coffee in the chute causing the plastic blades to seize upon inspection. I disassembled the grinding unit leaving the pick up wires intact. After a couple of minutes in hot water I was finally able to pull the top blades apart from the bottom. I cleaned the complete unit along with all necessary ducts.
My problem now is that the machine starts grinding when button is depressed however it only grinds for 1-2 seconds before the right red warning lamp comes on. I assume it must be related to the grinder as my friend says it was working fine beforehand. The little bit of coffee ground actually goes into the chamber where its supposed too.
If you have a programming solution or any other thought on this machine it would be greatly appreciated.
First step.If the grind is to coarse the burrs will spin to fast sensing no beans.
Solution: The grind needs to be finer. Caution you can over adjust causing the clay burrs to shatter.

If the grinder spin for a fraction of a seconds and stops, it sounds like the sensor wire is not connected properly, OR the grinder is too tight, it was sensing grinder is jammed. Try grinding without beans, it will spin for a few seconds and stopped and the redlight will come on meaning coffee beans empty.

You can turn the grinder (mill) so the plates open for a more gross coffee this will help the grinder motor to rotate more free you can use a vacume cleaner to **** all the remainig coffee inside the grinder. If still not any reaction you have to desasemble complete clean the grinding plates. If you still not have any reaction then the grinder motor burn out and need to bee replaced.
