Question about Philips DVDR985 DVD Recorder
I have a DVD stuck in the player after it crashed and reset itself, unfortunately the remote has been missing for some time... so I cant go through any menus (or even select OK).
My biggest question is does the DVDR985 let you open the tray when you are selecting menu language? If yes, then the problems physical (and there are various solutions available elsewhere... If no... is there any way I can press "OK" through a combination of the any of the buttons?
The tray can be opened by turning the machine over, looking inside the opening near the tray, and finding the small white tab. Use a tool to push the tab across to the other side which opens the tray
