If the numbers repeat twice, there are five combinations (111, 333, 555, 777, and 999). If the numbers only repeat once, there are sixty combinations (113, 131, 311, 115, 151, 511, etc).

How to change the 3 digit code of my samsonite ?

Luggage manufacturer Samsonite offers a variety of business, personal, travel products and accessories. Many Samsonite pieces such as attaches and other bags include a three-digit, built-in combination lock. When purchased, the locks are set on a factory default combination that you can change as often as you wish.

STEP 1
Turn the number dials to the previously set combination, or to "0-0-0", the factory default combination for Samsonite luggage.

STEP 2
Locate the reset button, usually placed to the side of the combination dials.

STEP 3
Press the reset button and hold it while rotating the number dials to the desired combination. Set this to a sequence easy for you to remember but hard for others to figure out.

STEP 4
Release the reset button after you set the numbers to the new combination.

STEP 5
Test the combination by turning the dials to the new code to open the lock. If the combination does not open the lock, repeat Steps 1 through 4 and test the lock again. If you still can't open the lock, contact Samsonite Customer Service at 800-765-2247.

I have 6 digits, numbers 1-6 need to list all combinations possable

There's only one six-digit combination possible, namely the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

If the order matters then there are 720 possible permutation. I'm not going to list them all. Start with 123456, then 123465, 123546, and so on to 654312 and 654321.

My volumn on my ipod 4th gen is not working and when i go to settings it only shows languages no volumn setting

One of the major warnings Apple includes with all of its iPods is the permanent hearing damage that could occur if you have the volume on your iPod turned up too high.

To help combat the problem, the iPod comes with a feature that allows you to set a maximum volume level that your iPod can be played at that level is controlled by a combination that can keep others namely children from turning the volume up to dangerous levels.

The good news is, if that combination falls into the wrong hands, it can be reset.

Use your iPod's click wheel to scroll down to "Settings."

Press the center button located in the middle of the click wheel to select the settings menu.

Scroll down to "Playback" and press the center button to select it.

Scroll to "Volume Limit" and press the center button to select it.

Use the click wheel to scroll to the first number of the old combination and press the center button to select it.

Repeat this process for all four numbers of the old combination.

Use the click wheel to scroll to where you want the maximum volume to be set and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to scroll to "Lock" and press the center button.

Use the click wheel to enter the first number of the new combination when the message "Enter New Combination" appears on the screen repeat the process for the three remaining numbers.

Once the four numbers have been entered, your iPod's maximum volume will be set and your password will be changed.

hope this helps

Using all digits 5, 4 and 8, how many different numbers can you form if no digit is repeated? What if digits may be repeated?

This question refers to combination and permutation. In order to calculate this, you need to think of it logically.

To calculate without repeats, it's fairly simple. In the first digit x, you have three options (5,4,8), however in y there are only two options (the two which were not in x), and z only has one option (the one that was left over). When you calculate them out you do it by multiplication, IE 3*2*1=6. This is also called a factorial, and is expressed as 3!

To express with repeats, the formula is a little different. It depends on what size number you are trying to make, and I'm not sure that you gave that information. If you are only making a 3 digit number, the solution would be as follows. x has 3 options again, but since there can be repeats both y and z have 3 options as well. When calculated, it comes out to 3*3*3-27
