I am guessing that you uninstalled your sound driver. You can search Google for " (laptop model) sound driver". If it shows a link to IBM's website that would be your best bet. You need to download and install the latest audio driver. Then you should reboot your computer. Also, make sure your computer is not set on mute or the audio level is not set to zero.

Hello,

Please make sure that the sound is not in mute. If it's unmute and still has no sound, try to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver. Drivers are located in device manager. Simply type device manager on the search box to find it. In the device manager, expand the sound video and game controller category, usually the audio driver is the realtek high definition audio driver or smart audio. Uninstall the driver and restart the laptop to take effect the changes. Restarting the laptop will automatically reinstall the audio driver. Test the sound.

I dont know why that when i use voipcheap the sounds like a computer sounds. However, when i use skype to talk with my friend, the sounds is normal~ can i ask why?


Hello,

If the sound quality is cheap, then you may try to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver. Go to start/type device manager on the search box/look for sound, video and game controller/uninstall the high definition driver or the audio drive, do not check the delete box. Once the driver is uninstalled, restart the NB. The audio driver will be reinstalled automatically once laptop is restarted. Then test the sound.

I have uninstall my realtek hd manager i have no sounds now what should i do now


realtek hd manager is bundled with audio driver, if you uninstall it , this mean you uninstall audio driver too, just install again audio driver and you got your sound again

you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the driver and the sound devices
control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers or right click select properties to either troubleshoot,uninstall,rollback driver
make sure that you have these devices and drivers backed up to a disc before uninstalling

I have no sound and my mute is off and volume up all the way.


Make sure that you have installed the audio driver for your computer properly. Otherwise, uninstall/reinstall the audio driver as this indicates a corrupted windows driver. Make sure that you restart the system once you have uninstalled it. You can uninstall this in the Device Manager. Right-click on My Computer then Properties. Click on Hardware then Device Manager. Look for sound and collapsed it. Right click on the Audio Driver then uninstall. Restart.

No sound got eroor code 1b63:061b , 0f1b , 151b, 101b


This error code is usually generated by a Dell Computer. I suggest that you perform an extended test by pressing the F12 Key at the startup of the Computer.
Furthermore, you may go to the Device Manager and check the status of the audio devices which are listed under the "sound, video, and game controllers" category.

I suggest that you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Audio devices from the device manager.

In order to uninstall the audio devices from the Device Manager, please right click on the device and then click Uninstall. It's required to restart the Computer after uninstalling a device. Once the Computer is restarted, reinstall the appropriate Audio driver. You can download the audio driver from the support site of your Computer manufacturer.

There is problem with my sound card driver

First check to see that volume is up =).

If you have the internet on the computer:
If that's not the problem, uninstall and reinstall your audio driver. When you reinstall, let windows search the internet for it when the option comes up. Select "yes, this time only."

To uninstall your driver, go to your control panel, double click system, select the "hardware tab," click "device manager," find the "audio" or "sound..."(it has the megaphone picture next to it), expand the tree(click the plus sign), right click the icon with the yellow question mark, select uninstall.

To install your driver, Follow the steps until "select uninstall." Instead, select install. That's when you'll want to let windows find the driver for your on the internet.

If you don't have the internet on the computer:
Uninstall the driver like above on the computer.
Go to the manufacturer of the audio card's website and look for drivers or google "(company's name) audio drivers," download it to a USB stick or disc, and copy it to your computer.
