Question about Garmin iQue 3600 GPS Receiver
Hi, I had to reinstall MapSource after a disk crash but I'm having a problem transferring all my saved maps, routes back to MapSource. I emailed tech support and was instructed to use conduits and hotsync again. Well I downloaded the "conduits software and did a hotsync but the maps, routes, etc did not transfer. The information is stored on a memory card in the iQue. I can see a file GMAPSUPP.IMG which because of it's size I'm thinking this is the data I want to transfer. Can you offer any assistance?
I'm a little unclear as to what you're trying to accomplish.... you said the Routes are already on the SD card.... It sounds like you are trying to send them to your computer so you can view them there.... Is that correct? Are you able to access the Routes on the SD card using the iQue itself?
I personally use an iQue 3600, so I should be able to get you squared away with a little more info.

The simplest method is to update the software for the Mapping/Data, the one you probably had is sooo out of date!
