It wont read my brand ne4w video game

Hi

if the video game is original, not copy, maybe the problem is coming from the hardware (the laser, could be damage )

tip:
clean the laser with specific CD cleaners, you can buy it on informatics store.

if your PS2 can read old video games, the problem could be from software (firmware)

tip:
try to update your firmware!

if it don't work, go to a Sony store, and explain your problem to them, an give it to try recognize the problem and/or repair it

i hope i have helped
good luck

MY ps2 Doesnt read PS2 Cd games

If you are trying to read a burnt game, you need it chipped first. If not, maybe your game is burnt or scratched. Some video stores will fix them for free. (Movie Gallery is where I go)

Put game disc in,XBox reads as dvd why.Can this be rectified.

Try different games. If they read fine then I would go to the video store and see about renting the game. This is to see if the game was just a bad copy or if it really is your xbox.

Sounds like the game is faulty, are your other games reading ok? Try blowing on the game before putting it into the DS.

360 reads one game as a dvd

this problem occurs in certain games, keep inserting the game or take back to the rental company, as it has an error on the disc, especially if you know that other discs are read alright by the 360.
