Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I went to Searspartsdirect.com and typed in your model number leaving the last 0 off and came up with a schematic, I don't know if this is actually your saw so you might want to take a look and hopefully you can find the part you need. If I have helped you in anyway please rate my information accordingly and Thank you

SOURCE: need a replacement motor for 1972 craftsman jointer

went to Sears site and no luck most parts are discontinued. So maybe try Grainger with the information from the data plate on the motor for a replacement or check in yellow pages for a local dealer of electric motors. I don't really think that there should be anything special as long as the output shaft and mounting are the same. Good luck sorry I don't have better info for you.

I have Craftsman 6 1/4 Professional Series Jointer Model #150-217060 and I would like to know where I can go on line to download the owners manual for this power tool

I don't know whether you ever got an answer to your query, but I'd suggest you have a look at the Sears support site at www.managemylife.com. (Don't ask me, I didn't name it.)
You don't mention how old that model is, but if you have no luck there, try this site and it's possible there's one there or a similar model you can download that will provide the needed info for you.
Good luck.

I have an old craftsman joiner (4 1/2'') actual measurement.

Try going onto craftsman tools website and looking up the jointer by model number. there should be a blowup and parts list, maybe a price list also. if the bearings aren't listed you can probably take it apart and find replacements at Grainger, or MSC or motion machine.chibasset
