SOURCE: my packard bell viseo monitor makes my pic's to wide

This issue is caused by missing drivers. You may need to install the drivers (Video card drivers and the Display drivers), the setup will set the adequate resolution for the display so the images will be displayed correctly.

SOURCE: my packard bell monitor keeps presenting a blank

Try this for starters. Shut down the computer like you normally do. Next turn it on and while its booting up press the F8 key(keep tapping it). You should get a menu and on that menu, one of the choices is Safe mode. Select it and press enter. This will boot your computer into a Diagnostic mode where you can troubleshoot hardware software and windows problem in general. If you successfully get into safe mode answer yes to the question it asks and then goto your Device manager..you can get there by rightclicking the mycomputer icon and select properties from the drop down menu then select the Hardware tab on top.and click DEVICE MANAGER. In this screen look for your display adapter..higlight your graphics adapter and right click...then select uninstall...now reboot your computer normally this time dont press the f8 key..gointo WIndows normally. This should reinstall your graphics card and possibly fix the problem.

Packard Bell OneTwo M3700 PC boots up but no display

most of the time on older monitors you can set the refresh rate in safe mode and that will, most of the time, resolve the problem otherwise time to purchase a newer monitor.

Monitor vga connection hdmi

You can check these:

1. Connection: Make sure that both ends are connected properly,
2. Monitor: Most newer monitor has 3 options: VGA or DVI or Automatic. Test the "Automatic" and "VGA" options.
3. Cycle your display option using your laptop keyboard (Alt + F4). Please tap the F4 several times (to change the option to Mirror, Laptop Display only, External Monitor only)

HDMi screen doesn't turn on

First, remove your HDMI-cable from your monitor and pc, then plug it back in.

If this doesn't work, go to your desktop and press your right-mouse button at an empty space and then select resolution. Then press detect.

I hope this works.

Newer monitor won't work with packard Bell R450

Wow, it's about time to dump the Packard Bell. Maybe the Video Card has gone bad in the Packard Bell and if you fix it your old monitor might work.

When i switched on my computer,my desktop will no fit onto my screen i have to scroll from side to side with the mouse or up and down to view the complete screen.

Hello,
This can happen if your display resolution settings in windows are set higher then your monitor can support. The display is meant to be set at 1024x768. You can set this by going into the control panel, select display. You will find the option to set the resolution in there,

Test the laptop using an external monitor
If this works fine, then the issue is with the screen, or possibly the vga cable. I notice this is referred to as a compatible screen, was this obtained new, or is it 2nd hand. Although most 15.4 screens fit most 15.4 laptops, some do not display correctly, this might be your problem. If you know the screen to be good I would suspect the connection at the back of the screen

If this still shows issues with an external monitor, you have a problem with your graphics chip on the motherboard
