Question about Kingston DTU30G2/32GB 32GB DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G2 USB 3.0 Flash Drive DTU30G2/32GB
When I plugged the USB drive into my MacBook Air, I received a "device not recognized" error, and the blue light was constant (did not flash). Subsequently, the device does not appear to be recognized by any computer and the blue light does not come on. On a PC, under Device Manager, the computer can see the USB drive and says it is working properly, but I cannot open it. This may or may not be related to me unplugging it from my laptop without closing all the open files. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
The drivers must be up to date and written for your device. If there are no drivers, it will not communicate and thus it may look like it is working and in place, but the linkage is not there.

Hi there, some time its happens because of the drivers. I give you a suggestion that, change the USB connector & use other one. If the same thing happened then install the USB driver again from the drivers disk. Then restart your computer and try to use that device. If again you face problem, then visit the shop & ask the person for check the Device. I guess your device have a problem. Because you also mentioned that, your already try these in other computer & face the same problem. You have one year warranty so you can get a new one from the shop.
Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

The thumb drive might have some fault.
Plug it in other OS mainly windows XP and Linux.
If still same problem persists after tried in Linux, problem is with pen drive.
You can ask for a replacement from the dealer as it has guarantee for 5years.
