Question about Saeco Magic Cappuccino Espresso&Cappuccino Machine
When tightening the arm, my espresso machine gave off sparks. Same thing when loosening the arm. It made a perfect coffee though but now the frother is not working.
If it gave off sparks, then an electrical fault and you need to have it looked at by a service person or an experienced person with electrical licence.. A bad fault could hurt or even kill you.

There seems to be a leak in the line somewhere you should not use the machine or at least the frother until you get it checked out as it will blow the rest of the machines electrics and maybe kill you. if you move it and look under the machine you may find water this will confirm my suspicions. but there is definitely a leak in that line...

Sounds like it could have pre brewing enabled which wets out the coffee and helps extract the full flavour. It may also need lubricating it is hard to know with a limited description. You can use a pen to bypass the sensor in the door to see what it is doing at the time. This may or should help establish the noise.

I would say that your brew unit is not locked in.
Brew group missing indicator
Open the door on the right. Push on the upper left side of the brew unit until you hear a click. Close the door and see if the message is gone. If it is make sure that the grounds drawer is in place.
Tip: Pull the grounds drawer out, then push it back with only 1 finger and push it on the right side of the drawer. This will make sure that it engages the micro switch.

Remove the brew unit and check for blockage in the shower screen, then try to brew coffee if same result machine might need to be descaled.
