What is the size of a refrigerator in cubic ft that is 30"by 60" or 60"by 30"

Ad

That would depend on the depth. A refrigerator that's 60 inches high by 30 inches wide by 1 inch deep would be just over one cubic foot. A refrigerator that's 60 inches high by 30 inches wide by 30 inches deep would be 31.25 cubic feet.

SOURCE: 1. convert 10,000 Square meters

- You cannot convert square meters (m²) to meters (m). The first unit measures an area, the second a length. You might as well ask, "what is the weight of two hours".
- There is no single answer without further constraints given. Even assuming a box-shaped room, it might be, for example 1ft x 1ft x 300,000ft or 100ft x 100ft x 30ft. Infinite more combinations are possible.
- My pleasure ;-)

Use a Tape Measure:

Measure the Length, Width & Depth of the inside or outside and use this to calculate the cubic feet or meters.

It's a rectangle, so it's far easier than a circle.

Refrigerators and freezers vary in size. Nobody can tell you what size yours is..

Cubic feet just means the width x height x depth.

If your refrigerator is 3ft x 3ft x 3ft That just means 3x3x3 =27. It would be 27 cubic feet

You'll have to measure your own refrigerator/freezer to get your own answer

Not enough information to answer. For AREA, you multiply length times width and get square feet. For VOLUME you multiply length times width times height and get cubic feet. You need a third value to calculate cubic feet.

12 x12 = 144 sq ft

12 x12 x12 = 1728 cubic ft

12 x12 x12 = 1728 cubic ft

Multiply 10 feet by 12 feet by 8 feet to get 960 cubic feet.

17.6 cubic feet is 17.6 cubic feet.

You can't convert cubic feet to feet any more than you can convert your height to gallons.

You calculate a volume. If all the lengths, radii, heights are in feet the resulting volume is in cubic feet.

Example: Right rectangular prism with L=5 ft, W= 3 ft, height =1.5 ft

Volume =(5 ft)*(3 ft)*(1.5 ft)= (5*3*1.5) (ft*ft*ft)=22.5 ft^3

You don't. Square feet is a measure of area while cubic meters is a measure of volume.

Consider a room 8 ft by 10 ft. The floor area is 80 square ft. What's the volume of the room in cubic feet (let's not worry about converting to meters yet). Well, that depends on the height of the ceiling, doesn't it? If the ceiling is 8 ft high then the volume is 640 cubic feet. If the ceiling is 12 ft high then the volume is 960 cubic feet. Without that third dimension, you can't calculate the volume.

If you want to calculate the volume of an object and have the answer in cubic feet.

Volume=Length X Width X Height

With the dimensions you give

Volume=12.5in X 37in X 20in

Volume=9250 cubic inches

To convert 9250 cubic inches into cubic feet you need to understand that there are 1728 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot.

L X W X H = 12"X12"X12"=1728 cu in

You then multiply 9250cu in and (1/1728cu ft) Really you are dividing 9250 by 1728.

your answer is 5.35 cubic feet.

12 inches in 1 foot

144 square inches in 1 square foot

1728 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot

to convert you put the unit you want to keep on top of the dividend.

to conver to to feet ( randomly selecting 100 inches)

Example converting 100 inches to feet

100inches X ____1ft____ = (100/12) = 8.3 feet

12inches

or cubic inches to cubic feet

4000 cubic inches to cubic feet

4000cu in X ____1cu ft____ = ( 2.33 cu ft)

1728 cu in

if you notice that the units on top and bottom of the dividend cancel each other out leaving the numerator (top number) as your unit.

it also works in reverse

2.33 cu ft X ___1728 cu in____ = (4000 cu in)

1cu ft
