If you did not fill in a password during setup you may need to leave the password field blank. I would try that first of all.

SOURCE: toshiba satellite pro 6100 bios reset?

The Password can be removed via the printer port
What you need is a password removal tool, It removes the Bios and start-up passwords.
It costs about £5.00. Easy to build but it costs more to put the kit together.
I think you were quite hard on the assistance.
People here are just trying to help. At least appreciate that!

With that machine, the recovery disks came with it when new. You can, however, install any retail version of the operating system, and go to www.toshiba.com to download/install the required device drivers.

SOURCE: how can I reset my Toshiba Satellite L25-S119

Only way is to reinstall Windows from scratch; download the required drivers from Toshiba support webpage for your laptop; burn these onto a CD and load them after Windows has completed installing. Sorry! You could try Toshiba for the recovery CD download as well...

Toshiba satellite a105 s1712 factory settings

If you are talking about the BIOS settings or password, then you will have to dissasemble the laptop and take out the BIOS battery (a coin battery, not the laptop's battery itself). Then you'll have to replace it after a few minutes then reassemble the laptop. That should restore it to factory settings.
Also, if it asks for any password at boot time (not windows login screen) the default should be "toshiba".

I forgot my administrator password on my toshiba lapto a135-s2276, how do i re-boot my laptop to factory setting? be advice that my recovery cd that came with the laptop broke.

You might be able to boot the computer up in safe mode by pressing the F8 key repeatedly as soon as you power the machine on until you see a screen that will give you that option. Once the logon screen appears try typing Administrator for the login name and leave the password field blank. There is a "hidden" admin account by default just in case you "forget" your password. This feature can be disabled, however, so it may not work. If that's the case, my suggestion would be to contact Toshiba's customer support dept., explain your situation, and ask them to send you a new Windows OS disk. There are other ways to gwt around the password, but you really asked how to restore your laptop to factory default settings, so I'll leave it at that.

The previous hard driver was bad. I replaced it with a new hard drive. I used the Toshiba default factory setting to reinstall the softeware and now my laptop will not boot up.

Toshiba default factory setting can only restor your software if you have backup copy on New Harddrive.

As your old Harddrive crashed, you have to reinstall Operating system and requie software on new Harddrive.

For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.

Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
